This photo was taken near the Portland waterfront during the peak of the 2015 cherry blossom season. Every spring, thousands of people enjoy the blossoms in the Tom McCall waterfront park which has a hundred cherry blossom trees planted as a memorial to Japanese immigrants who were sent to internment camps in WW2.
