A foggy morning along the damnation creek trail in the Redwoods National Park.
Redwoods are the tallest trees in the world - that's it. No competition. They can grow to be as tall as 367 feet. To go with their awe-inspiring size, there's some fun history too: just over 160 million years ago (how many facebook posts ago is that?), dinosaurs used to teem in the place where there are now the redwood giants.
