Surreal hoodoos adorn the landscape of the De Na Zin wilderness, also known as the Bisti Badlands. These hoodoos are a mixture of coal, shale and mudstone. Over time they've eroded to form these interesting shapes. Being here - especially on a quiet autumn morning like this one - is an out-of-the-world experience.
