This photo was taken on 12/31/2014 - partially: the dormant buds in the foreground were photographed on 12/31/2014; the cherry blossoms in the background were taken in the spring of 2014. I overlaid the spring photo on top of the wintry photo to convey the coming of spring after winter, blossoms after closed buds, warmth after cold and hope after not-quite-so-hopeful.
