This sagebrush bush was photographed at the Buena Vista Overlook trail in remote southeastern Oregon near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. In the background are the Buena Vista ponds which serve as a prime location for migrating birds, especially in spring. This photo was taken in fall.
